Customer Rating: Summary: Friday the 13th- a campy (Get it LOL), bloody, original classic with traditional gore also seen in Bay of Blood (1971) Comment: Friday the 13th was a movie i was waiting along time to see, but never got to until i was like 11, and i love every acpect of it, the atmopshere, to gore, the terror, and the bad acting
Plot- camp crystal lake, 1958, 2 young necking teens, were murdered, now 22 years later, the killer has returned to the camp and 7 more people will die, and the terror will continue, the classic begins
Acting- the only down fall to this masterpiece is the acting, it had it's momments but it really didnt shine
Gore- this did Shine however, we get an axe to the face, some slit throats, an arrow to the neck, a dude pinned to the door with arrows, a knife to the stomach, a decapitation and more!
Bottom Line- 4 oput of 5
Rated R/ Time 95min/ 1980/ Color
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Movie Comment: This movie was great. I liked it a lot. My favorite part was when Ms.Vorhees got her head chopped off. This movie is an ancient classic.
Customer Rating: Summary: Friday the 13th, part 1 Comment: When I was young, this movie literally scared the hell out of me. Especially the ending. I jumped so high, I hit my head on the ceiling, and I didn't sleep well for weeks afterwards. This is a classic horror movie. Lots of blood and it's scary too. The music and the sound effects "chee, chee, chee...ha, ha, ha!" will scare you, believe me. Watch it home alone, at night, in the dark and you'll be turning on the lights real fast. :-) Jason Vorhees was the man on the 80's. This is the original 'teenagers go to camp and get slaughtered one by one by maniac killer' horror flick. This is the movie that all the others ripped off. Highly recommended.
I recently saw the new Friday the 13th (2009) and surprisingly it too was good. Usually I don't care much for remakes, but it was good. Check it out.
Customer Rating: Summary: Friday the 13th part.1 Comment: this dvd movie was great but the suspense that keep us waiting to know who the real killer is.Is the scary part where jason mother get her head cut off then jason voorhees get his revenge in part.2
Customer Rating: Summary: A true horror and thriller classic.... Comment: I have to admit, I was impressed with this film. Due to the fact that isn't just a horror and slasher film. This film is a very stylish thriller, cause uses the plot idea from Agatha Christie's "And then there were none" and puts a modern spin on things. Basically, the story takes place at a place called "Camp Crystal Lake". Where two young counselors are murder, when they sneak off to be alone. Of course, the camp is shut down after that and is not opened. That is until 40 years later, a new group has taken over the campsite and is going to try open it again. However, the group consists of very young, naive and inexperince people. Once the group learns about the camp's history. They are soon stalked and hunted down by an unknown assailant, who is bent on making sure that the camp is never opened. Now, the group must fight to stay alive until morning comes and they can get help. This film is truly impressive!!! Also Betsy Palmer and Adrianne King were true credits to this film. They did a remarkable job with thier roles.
